Rooms have a TV tea/coffee facilities and Wi-Fi access. 7 rooms with attached bathroom are located directly next door at the Pilmour Hotel however guest should check-in at the Ardgowan. Playfair's Restaurant and Steakhouse serves fresh local produce in their intimate restaurant which also has an outdoor terrace. In addition to the restaurant Playfair's Bar is located in the annex. Superb

Liked: Very comfortable and a good breakfast choice as well as nicely cooked eggs
Disliked: Everything , excellent overnight stay and would use the hotel again.

Delightful centrally location hotel

Liked: - room size- cleanliness- all necessary facilities like tea kettle, tea and coffee; toiletries- good breakfast
Disliked: - room cleaning service was hard to predict - one of the days the room was not cleaned at all - unclear why- room is either too hot or too cold
