Very convenient and comfortable hotel....

Liked: Beds were comfy, room was warm. Complimentary toiletries in the bathroom were generous and great quality. Hotel was clean throughout. Very good location.
Disliked: Room and bathroom were a little cosy....not a huge amount of space to move around in, but think that's a common theme in the town. No onsite parking BUT plenty of free public spaces nearby.

A good place to stay...

Liked: The welcome on arrival was excellent and friendly and very informative. For a junior suite the room was somewhat smaller than expected but comfortable none the less with a view along adjoining properties gardens. There was no option for eating in the evening so we went out into town, which is a bustling pleasant place to stay. Breakfast was ok, the person waiting looked a bit fed up as a result the service wasn't up to what I had expected, such as it would be nice to have a spoon with porridge or a knife with toast. But staying in St Andrews is a great experience especially for a golfer to be able to walk along the courses, added to this free long stay parking.
Disliked: In general the hotel was up to expectations though the room was smaller than anticipated, and the lower than expected level of service at breakfast.
