Arden Hotel And Leisure Club, Solihull

Nice hotel close to Genting Arena. Staff were pleasant. The breakfast was very good.

Disliked: Just parking places very tight. Being disabled I had to get out of the car before parking. I couldn't see any designated disabled parking.

Good stay let down by...

Disliked: Room was too hot, 28°c despite having the window open most of the night and radiator turned off. The problem was due to the uninsulated heating pipe that ran around the room. This was obviously a known problem as there was a pedestal fan in the room. We didn't get a lot of sleep and were woken early in the morning, by the noise from both the airport and the main road, so had to close the window and increase the room temp further

Disliked: We didn't like that the menu 3 course special priced wasn't available and yet it was on their website as available. We stil chose off the same menu but the meal deal wasn't allowed. They shouldn't advertise it if its not always available.

Liked: It was a lovely hotel, staff were nice. Facilities were good.
Disliked: The bedrooms were very basic , the beds were small.an pillow's very lumpy an hard didn't sleep well. An nothing was explained about dinning or facilities. All on TV which was outdated.

Liked: The hotel is in a good location for NEC, though navigating the local roads is slightly confusing!The restaurant and bar staff were excellent.
Disliked: The room was well presented, though a little too warm, and with minor maintenance issues that I informed the hotel team of when checking out

Superb

Liked: All the staff were polite,helpful and professional. We were really impressed with the overall experience.
Disliked: The leisure facilities are due an upgrade.
