Beautiful, charming and magical stay.

Liked: We loved everything about this place- the setting was stunning, the house itself was quirky and beautiful. The interior was like a little castle and full of interesting paintings and furniture. The bed was comfortable and there were nice touches like robes provided and nice toiletries. We liked the way it didn’t feel like a hotel, it felt like a big country house. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed. It was brilliant value for money and we hope to return one day!
Disliked: Nothing. One very small thing was there was no main light in our bedroom, just lamps. However it added to the atmosphere!

Bewitching...it will take your breath...

Liked: We loved absolutely everything The hotel is a very characterful, grand old manor house that is charming and quirky. It has a wonderful position on the side of Loch Awe and its location really is out of this world. The food was first class and the staff were absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and special mention must go to Gary, Dawn and Jake who went out of their way to make everything perfect. We can't wait to return

Fabulous place in the middle...

Liked: A truly magical location. Very quirky, very old ( in need of some modernisation) but very special. The boat shed accommodation is superb. The gardens are amazing…. Needing some work to restore to former glory but they are magical. Deer roaming around every day is a wonderful sight. Don’t chose this hotel if you are a snob! It’s not a chic modern boutique hotel it’s an old fashioned beauty. but there are some very unique pieces dotted around the place. Staff lovely and helpful with great local knowledge. Food amazing!
Disliked: As our stay was 6-9 December we did expect at least a Christmas tree in situ.
