Good value in central Berlin

Liked: The location is good with a metro station just around the corner to connect you to anywhere in Berlin and it felt safe. The room was clean and comfortable. Although the street outside was busy and trams running there was little disturbance from noise. Didn't take breakfast so I can't comment on that but there was tea and coffee in the room. It would have been good if they had explained on check in that I could refill supplies from downstairs. I liked that you get a choice whether you want the room refreshed every day or not. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again.

Good location but poor customer...

Liked: When we arrived (10pm) there was no one on reception, no bell or way of finding or alerting anyone. We phoned the number - phone on reception rang but no one appeared. The member of staff who eventually turned up had clearly gone for a long break. No apologies. Very standoffish and clear we were putting him out by turning up.They got the city tax wrong so check out took a long time - a pain as we had a taxi waiting and the original member of staff who charged the city tax was at reception as well as the colleague who was checking us out and not one word of apology, just a purse of the lips and a shrug.
