Brilliant in Berlin

Liked: Location was central to various tourist attractions all within walking distance as well as places to eat and drink.The hotel staff were polite, friendly and very helpful.Breakfast was substantial with plenty of seating available.Rooms were very comfortable and spacious.
Disliked: There was no permanent member of staff serving at the bar in the evening, they would often disappear for long periods of time and then begrudgingly serve you when requested.

Lovely hotel in the heart...

Liked: I travelled to Berlin with my son for a few days and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff at the reception was very kind and accommodating. Our room was easily switched to a room with two single beds. The rooms look great, just like in the photos. Lovely breakfast buffet. The hotel was very clean. The location was great, just around the corner from Museumsinsel (museum island) and Gendarmenmarkt. The hop-on-hop-off bus stop is just down the road (handy for tourists) and public transport options are close by.
Disliked: I think the lobby/bar look a bit uninviting, which is a shame compared to how nice the rooms look. When I ordered a glass of house wine at the bar, the bartender charged me €11. The next day I checked the menu and turns out the bartender poured the most expensive white wine he had, which I thought was not very kind.
