Liked: Good option to stay downtown. Great gym and lots of restaurant options nearby. Please note their garage cannot accommodate SUVs and trucks - parking limited at the back.

Liked: The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to the city's main attractions and the staff were super friendly, on all shifts, and helpful.I would definitely recommend Arc the hotel to all of my travel friends and family.We will definitely stay at the Arc next time we are back in the beautiful Ottawa.

Disliked: Oddly, only hand soap in bathroom. A small bar of decent soap needed for those of us who forgot our own. You need a good grip to get shower Gell out of container.The parking -- okay, but access is a bit treacherous in winter (down the slope on foot to a door at the bottom). Also on weekends nearby lots are much cheaper.

Liked: Since I booked through Booking.com, the hotel refused to accept a security deposit via debit cards upon arrival. I was extremely exhausted after driving for four hours from Toronto in bad weather and asked them to accept either a debit card or cash, but they insisted that only a credit card was allowed.I had to urgently find a friend or relative who could pay for me because I was physically too tired to drive to another hotel.Additionally, the parking lot does not have an internal entrance to the hotel—you have to walk through the back courtyard and the street, which is also inconvenient.I do not recommend this hotel. Last time, I stayed at the Marriott nearby and had no issues.
