Good spot if you need...

Liked: The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean.
Disliked: My partner went for breakfast in the morning and had a sub par experience. He said the wait was long, his food wasn’t as ordered and when he asked for ketchup it was 5+ minutes until he got some.

Very good

Liked: Had a great stay at ARC. It is a better than average 4 star hotel at an excellent price. My go to place in Ottawa now.

Practical and Pleasant

Liked: We felt the location was great for our trip to Ottawa and the hotel was nice as well.
Disliked: Older hotel but well updated. Our view from the room was not the best but for the price we didn’t mind.

Overall we like the hotel...

Liked: The bed was very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean.
Disliked: The air blows cold when the heat first comes on which is very uncomfortable when you're sleeping. Takes a minute to warm up. The tv screen kept cutting out. Keurig machine was clogged so caused a mess when making coffee.

A quiet getaway

Liked: I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable.
Disliked: I was a bit frustrated with some confusion with our reservation in the end, all worked out perfectly

Exceptional

Liked: Great location, helpful staff, a good restaurant/bar
Disliked: Despite our request for a quiet room, we were given an adjoining room by the evening staff, and could hear everything from our neighboring guests and got very little sleep the first night. The saving grace next morning was Rachel at the front desk, who rectified the situation by giving us a quieter room. Once the room change was done, the rest of stay was very good.
