Set in Eden Valley the 19th century Appleby Manor Country House Hotel features an AA rosette winning restaurant which serves fresh local produce. Liked: Staff lovely, food on bistro was lovely and spa good value
Disliked: Nothing we didn’t like - if being super critical it would be small things like pillows too hard - breakfast missing beans and hash browns and spa would be great with some loungers but overall it’s lovely and a great place.

Disliked: Bathroom cold, mould around sink and bath. Curtain in the bedroom falling off.Sink didn't drain but was sorted quickly.
