Clean, modern, and secure hostel

Liked: Close to the city, clean bathrooms, comfy beds. The lockers in the rooms were big enough to fit a medium sized suitcase and I appreciated that they had a ticket system if you wanted to leave your luggage after checkout to pick up later, so no-one could just walk in, claim that was their luggage and walk out. A great stay. The kitchen and cooking facilities were big, modern, and kept clean too.

Liked: The design and cleanliness of the common area. Level of security. Proximity to train, Park and restaurants.
Disliked: Unfriendly staff. I generally felt unwelcome and for most of my stay. Some staff even became pretty obnoxious in the end.

Liked: Pleasantly surprised, the total experience was enough to make me want to come back. It never felt crowded considering the amount of guests. I highly recommend as one of the best hostels.

Very pleasant stay

Liked: I enjoyed staying here so much that I stayed another night and booked a single room which was really nice, spacious and comfortable. The female bathrooms were on another floor but it wasn't too bad because the stairs to it were right out front. They gave you clean sheets and a clean towel when you check in. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. There was some noise outside on the streets randomly or outside in the hallway but it wasn't too bad plus, it wasn't located on a main street where you'd here a lot of traffic. I'm not sure if I went during off season but the noise wasn't too bad at all. I didn't utilize the common area for my short stay but it seemed really cool. Loved the decor and expose brick. Nice staff too. Didn't have any problems and it was an enjoyable and very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend this place.
Disliked: no elevator only stairs. It seems that the hostel is splint into two buildings but I was lucky to just stay in the same building as check in. You have to make your own sheets and then take them all back down to check out/check in. It can be a problem when you have a lot of luggage and you have to carry your sheets and towels at the same time. I had to put a $100 deposit for booking a private room and i was worried I wouldn't get refunded and some of the staff were a little unsure when I would get the refund. I eventually did though after 2 days which worked out fine but it just made me nervous.

Liked: This hostel was actually really nice, spacious, clean and has character! Better than what I expected! Staff was friendly as well. I didn't get to utilize the common areas but it seemed well designed and had everything you'd need.
