Perfect for a Philly City...

Liked: Loved the common area and the free beer in the evening <3 very friendly people and all in all a nice hostel
Disliked: The smell in the restroom

Great stay in Philly

Liked: We stayed in the family room and it worked perfectly for our friend group. They have a big common room with pool and other games and another common area that is quieter across the street. The day we arrived they even had free mixed drinks!
Disliked: There were not enough bathroom stalls and showers for a hostel this size.

Liked: Friendly staff, nice bathrooms, kitchen, good location.
Disliked: Check out is at 11am, but check in is at 4pm. They do not allow early check in if the room is ready. As you make your own bed when you arrive, and strip the bed when you leave (even in private rooms), I'm sure most of the time the room is ready well before 4pm. They need 5 hours to empty a bin and fold a blanket?? Come on. Bad service, especially for the price you pay.Also terrible WiFi, unless in common area.

Pleasant and conveniently located, will...

Liked: Very friendly staff, they let me use the pool table any time of the day and relax with beers while I was shooting pool. They also shared plenty about the neighbourhood for going out. Regular small activities in the evening.
Disliked: I've been here years ago and they had a complimentary breakfast which I really enjoyed, just to get up and get out and start the day. There was an obnoxious guest there, but staff removed him after a day.

Liked: The vibes! It’s amazing the staff, they are great, people with travel vibes like us is incredible! Nawel and Emma were great, but the rest was amazing as well!!I recommend this hostel and I come back again, of course! Btw, I love 9pm free beers
