Our unit was great -...

Liked: The unit was very spacious for the four of us. We liked having a full kitchen.
Disliked: There was a leak in the roof above the kitchen and we had heavy rain . It didn't affect our stay at all but shows that the unit needs a little TLC.

I highly recommend this place...

Liked: I was not sure what to expect but i was pleasantly surprised. the owners where great and the room was more than i expected very clear and quiet I had a great night sleep. i will definitely stay again. And it is the first motel i have stayed at that also provided Netflix and prime a big bonus to my stay. Thank you

Superb

Liked: Beautiful little spot. Was a bit further out of town than what I anticipated, but that's a me a problem. However, it was absolutely worth it. Staff a friendly, check in was hassle free. Rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy. Beds are comfortable. The whole location was a pleasure.

Okay, but ended up being...

Liked: Easy to find
Disliked: No towels, had to go ask for them, not a big deal. The thing that I didn’t like was that the power to the refrigerator was off. Yes, I should have checked… but this was our 26th night in many, many NZ hotels and motels - and never was the power to the frig shut off- how long does it take to cool a frig down to keep food safe? They said that there had been a smell and they shut it off to air it out - and the door must have shut. If that’s the case- warn us when we arrive, or tape a note to the frig!! We threw away our spoiled food, and she gave me a thin ice pack to chill the food we were picking up to travel with.
