Amazing break in characterful hotel

Liked: The hotel is absolutely beautiful. So much character and such richness to the decor and look of the reception area. The room was fairly small, but so comfortable! The beds were beautifully made up everyday and we slept really well. The shower was excellent and there was tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, a tv and an added bonus - a balcony over a stunning little courtyard.The reception staff were so friendly, kind and multi-lingual!
Disliked: The directions for the tram stop was incorrect, so as we got lost. That literally was the only fault and that was the booking.com info, so not necessarily the hotel. (For info - the tram stop we used when we got our bearings was Gerrit v.d Veenstraat which is literally a few mins walk from the hotel).

Disliked: Too much furniture in our bedroom! Could have been paired down to leave us more space. Booking.com was hacked during the lead up to our stay. Fortunately we spotted it, but am sure many didn't

This hotel was right up...

Liked: Quite a classy, classic hotel really, and very stylish. If we’d known about the hotel theatre we would have looked to seeing something there too.We loved the cosy lift.
