My stay at the Apollo...

Liked: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Apollo motel! The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and you can't beat having the beach just a few steps away! I will stay there again next time I'm in town.

If better cleaned, the price...

Liked: Beds were comfortable, plenty of parking and decently priced for out of season.
Disliked: Bed sheets were stained and dirty. No soap or shampoo. Pool was very dirty

Liked: I was very happy because I was supposed to be in Myrtle Beach. I've come up but because of a tropical storm I was not able to go there so last minute. I'm very glad that I was able to find it laat minute. I loved how.close we were to.the beach!! And the staff was Very helpful. Because I went around to multiple stores for change to do my laundry. And the last place I thought was to ask the front desk so I get and they graciously give me as many quarters as I needed to do my laundry..
Disliked: The only thing I wish they had was coffee in the front office, during the day.. Because even though the Starbucks was around the corner, I hated that there wasn't just a cup of coffee right there, but that's just me.

Perfect place for me to...

Liked: The pool is absolutely beautiful and is kept very clean. There are many recliners to relax on while getting a tan, and there's also many places to curl up and read a good book. It's right on the beach so it's not far to walk down to the water.
Disliked: The first day I arrived, there were so many young kids in the pool splashing each other and being very rowdy. I know kids will be kids, but I wish their parents had settled them down a little bit. The worst part was how they were screaming "Marco Polo" at the top of their lungs over and over and over. This went on for at least an hour and I could hear it from my room as well.

Decent for price, needs major...

Liked: Great price and with this hotel you really do get what you paid for. Not bad for just a place to sleep.
Disliked: Property definitely needs some work. Rooms needed to be cleaned better and none of the beds had comforters. Mattresses/boxsprings, furniture, and wall pieces showed large amounts of rust and grime buildup. Pool very small and cramped for the number of guests the hotel accommodated, not to mention the major cracks causing potential tripping hazard on the cement walkway surrounding the pool. Hotel is not handicap accessible unless staying on the first floor, seeing as there is no elevator to access the second and third floors.
