Not worth the price

Liked: The location of the hotel is perfect because it's close to the central station of Utrecht but also the city center. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: You can tell that the hotel is outdated and needs a renovation. When I entered the room I thought the window was open because I could hear a lot of noise from the street and the room was cold but it was closed (it was the 4th floor). When I placed my hands on it I could feel a cold breeze through the corners, so the windows are definetly very old. The desk was damaged (it had a big dent in the middle), the walls were scratched and I found some pubic hairs in the bathroom. So I clearly don't think it was good value for the money I paid. I'm glad I only stayed one night.

Disliked: The window didn’t close properly, so it was freezing at night, the bedlinnen was too small to keep warm, and when I came back to my room after a long day at work, the room wasn’t cleaned. When I mentioned this at the reception I just got the message that they would pass it on…

Liked: The room was a very good size and very clean. The hotel is in an excellent location. Loved that there was tea/coffee making facilities in the room
Disliked: Shower was a bit awkward to use and the lift was very slow and small, the stairs as an alternative were surprisingly steep. However the hotel itself was much better than certain other reviews I'd read had indicated so was a good surprise.
