Comfortable beds; large, well equipped room and bathroom; very quiet; all spotlessly clean; location perfect for (5 minutes walk away); great view of castle; loads of great pubs and restaurants nearby. Very near to Station and Princes Street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go to Apex again.

Liked: On checking out, they offered to look after our luggage if we wished until we caught our train home.
Disliked: Scaffolding over entrance and workmen busy on our floor but not disturbed in any way despite this.

A new city experience for...

Liked: The hotel is new , the rooms are comf and very smart . The breakfast was in a deal and was very good ! The area is very interesting which I didn’t realise . Need to walk about to experience the best of the historical Grassmarket .
Disliked: Everything was comfortable , I could see the grass market and Edinburgh castle through my window a short walk away!
