Comfortable beds; large, well equipped room and bathroom; very quiet; all spotlessly clean; location perfect for (5 minutes walk away); great view of castle; loads of great pubs and restaurants nearby. Very near to Station and Princes Street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go to Apex again.

Liked: On checking out, they offered to look after our luggage if we wished until we caught our train home.
Disliked: Scaffolding over entrance and workmen busy on our floor but not disturbed in any way despite this.

Liked: Location was excellent. Looking right onto Edinburgh Castle. Near pubs and restaurants. Royal Mile 3 minutes walk. Beds were very comfortable. Showers very good. Breakfast very good. Overall a great experience. Would recommend .
Disliked: No bar to have a drink . But there were loads of bars nearby.

Great place ruined by other...

Liked: Friendly staff. Had room ready early. Provided free parking.
Disliked: The noise from our floor was ridiculous. You could hear everybody going to their rooms. Had some drunk idiot trying every room on the floor. Ended up cutting my stay short and leaving in the middle of the night to go home. No fault on the staff. They can't help for morons booking into their hotel.
