Liked: Nice location in the Gothic. Windows were sound proof so very quiet in the room despite its location above a town square (which is a very nice feature for enjoying several local restaurants)

Exceptional

Liked: The hotel is in a great location in the lovely older part of city. We can get to most places from the hotel on foot and there is so much within easy reach - museums, many good places to eat, the harbour and marina, and local shops. After a long day exploring the hotel is a comfortable and peaceful place to come back to.
Disliked: N/A

Very poor

Liked: there's not much to say that we actually liked about this place other than the location was central to a lot of good surrounding neighborhoods.
Disliked: hotel is completely over-selling itself. this is a not a 4 star hotel at all. facilities are minimal and staff is very rude. i do not recommend booking here at all.

Very nice place to stay...

Liked: The room was clean and spacious. Had a kitchen which was handy.
Disliked: The bed was too hard for my liking.

Perfect place to stay if...

Liked: Excellent location, almost hidden in the middle of the Gothic quarter. We had quick access to everything. We loved the history of the place, the architecture and overall feel. Room was the perfect size for 2 with amazing bathrooms. The staff was A+, always helpful and just overall pleasant. There's a gym and sauna available upon request and if you're staying for longer stay they have laundry service for a reasonable price. Would definitely come back.

Authentic Gothic Location

Liked: For location, size of the rooms, decor/feel of the hotel, and staff - this is a 10/10 stay! In the heart of the gothic quarter - it's close to everything, and the building and rooms are authentic and stunning!
Disliked: Being in the heart of the gothic quarter, it is noisy, but make sure your doors are properly closed - ours weren't and the difference between sealing them properly and not - was significant to noise volume. The plumbing is a bit old and slightly smelly, again in keeping with the area - just shut the bathroom door....
