Exceptional
Liked: The set up for our large family vacation was perfect.
Disliked: Would be nice if it had a pool. But, everything else was good.

Five Stars!
Liked: Everything was perfect. The room was clean and cozy, and it stayed nice and cool even in the July heat. The location just on the edge of town is out of the way but not too secluded - privacy but with easy access to town. They stock locally roasted coffee in the rooms and have a community kitchen available for all guests who want to cook their own meals. I wish I could have stayed longer! And the staff was super friendly and helpful. When my ride to the bus stop fell through, Jess at the front desk gave me a ride herself. I am so grateful! If I am ever in Alpine again I will stay here for sure.

Eclectic stay with a lot...
Liked: The room had a small kitchenette which was great for storing and cooking quick snacks. The courtyard was charming. really enjoyed sitting and relaxing after a day of hiking. The rooms are dated, but really part of the charm. I stayed here years ago as a kid. Now I get to stay here with my kids.

Cute vintage feel, but very...
Liked: The bungalows were cute. It was very bohemian and vintage.
Disliked: The rooms were tiny. The pictures online made them look much bigger than they actually were. It was a tad disappointing because it was pretty small for our family. The bathrooms were tight and hard to use.

Disappointing
Liked: Very pleasant welcome from lovely lady, but thereafter we saw no person for the two days we were there.
Disliked: The room unit was small and basic and right by the noisy roadside. Being a "rustic" wooden cabin there was no sound insulation so not a lot of sleep. The bed was smaller than our ordinary double at home which also did not lead to a great night's sleep. Furnishings were basic. The floor was stone and cold despite a couple of rugs. The toilet and shower room was miniscule and there was really no room to comfortably and adequately sit on the loo. Anyone over 6 ft and/or 15 stone would have found this very difficult indeed.
