Practical good value for a...

Liked: Location is good for the main station, metro and restaurants (the old meat packing district). The rooms in the annex are basic but clean and the shared bathroom facilities were very well kept and nice to use. The shared kitchen was basic but functional and it was great to keep food in a fridge (recommend taking some labels to use!).
Disliked: The weather was hot (25-31 Celsius) while we stayed and a shared family room (4 people) got quite stuffy but suspect this would not be a problem usually

Pleasant

Liked: nice enough room. plenty of public toilets and showers. Location was great.
Disliked: there is no staff on site. You checkin/out via a computer and if you want to store luggae prior to checkin you need to figure out how to pay and operate the luggage room from some poor instructions.
