Disliked: Unfortunately heating system problem in the rooms to start with, but sorted out OK

Very good

Liked: Location, friendly staff, Dale the Dog!
Disliked: Bed was too soft and mattress was springy, rooms a little tired, however owner has refurbed all public areas and is about to start on the rooms which when done will be lovely

Clean, comfortable, value for money

Liked: The staff are very welcoming and the room well equipped, clean and comfortable . Shame we couldn’t eat in the hotels own restaurant as our arrival time of 8pm was too late for them on this occasion. But good stay apart from that.

Liked: The staff were amazing! Very attentive and kind. Food in the restaurant was delicious! Clearly there has been a lot of work done to the hotel and it was great, unfortunately our room had not been updated.
Disliked: The room had a very large water stain on the ceiling, paint was chipping in the bathroom, the shampoo was half empty and had some stuff floating in it, and the beds head board had a lot of stains.
