Great location and staff

Liked: Good location near downtown, easy free parking, lovely pool / patio area. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Just note you have to request a coffee maker and housekeeping!
Disliked: Only minor things: not enough lighting in the room, difficult to see into the closet, pool area could do with a couple of sunbeds but otherwise all really nice!

Liked: The remodel was very nicely done. Rooms were decorated nice and were clean. Staff was friendly. Only downside was the location. Lot's of road noise and I felt the location didn't justify the price.

Liked: The hotel was beautifuly staffed, had an amazing little bar with live music on Friday and Saturday. No questions asked i will definitely stay here time and time again when I go to san angelo.

Disliked: If you are a light sleeper this place is horrible. I was woken up all through the night by cars going by. Single pane windows and no sound dampening around h the door made for a restless night.

If you're looking for a...

Liked: The hotel has made some attempts to upgrade what appears to be a very old motel (although they call this a hotel). The interior improvements show some effort to modernize the space. The breakfast waffles & donuts as well as the coffee were very good.
Disliked: First off, the walls and ceiling are incredibly thin. We could hear every footstep from the hallway upstairs as if people were stomping through our room. To make matters worse, the hotel is located right next to an abandoned motel, and there were homeless individuals behind the property, directly outside our bathroom window. They were screaming and even setting off fireworks in February—definitely not the serene atmosphere we were hoping for.On top of that, there was a loud wedding party during our stay. The noise got so out of hand that someone ended up calling the police, and one person was taken away. Unfortunately, that didn't solve the problem, as the remaining guests continued their rowdy behavior. I tried to ask one of the neighboring guests to keep the noise down, but instead of being understanding, she acted like we were in a high school and tried to start a fight. After that, she and her friends would bang on our door and run off. These weren’t kids—they were immature adults who clearly couldn’t handle their liquor.What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of involvement from hotel management. They claimed they would call the police again, but the officers only showed up once, and no one from the hotel staff ever stepped in to address the ongoing disturbance. The rest of the night was a nightmare.To make matters worse, cleanliness was also a major issue. The bathroom had hair all over the floor, and we found hair in the beds as well. It didn’t seem like the room was cleaned thoroughly, making it hard to feel comfortable walking barefoot or even getting into bed.I definitely won't be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and safe stay.
