Fantastic facility!

Liked: This is a beautifully-remodeled motel and I can’t say enough good about how it all came out. Very well done, stylish, comfortable. The staff was great and they thought of almost every amenity to make it a great stay. Our only complaint - which cannot be helped (and which they are well aware of) - is the location. It is as noisy at night as a drag strip. And the neighborhood is a little sketchy. However, everything else was so perfect that I can hardly complain. I still slept well because the bed was so comfy (and I had earplugs). It was also a convenient location and easy to find something to eat.
Disliked: Just the noise.

Liked: the staff was super. The hotel was very quaint but the road noise in the evenings was loud.
Disliked: I was charged for smoking in the room but we did not smoke in our room. I smoked outside the door on the balcony with the room door shut and in the parking lot. I asked to speak to the manager and I did not receive a call back until today 1/2/25. We left the hotel on Monday 12/30/24. The manager told us that they would not refund the smoking fee as there were butts in the room. These butts were in a trash bag and it was tied shut as we do not throw out butts on the street or walkways. I wanted to make this hotel our "go to" place as we have family in San Angelo and visit several times a year but I will not now. My Husband & I take pride in being very courteous around others and in public places since we do smoke. I have stayed in many hotels in the US and abroad over the years and never once was charged with a smoking fee.

Liked: I will tell you the service was out of this world. I have never been so impressed with such incredible hospitality at a small hotel!!! the room was comfortable and you just can not do any better with the staff and food.
Disliked: I wouldn't even tell you if I didn't like something because everything that was great superseded any negative comment.

Beautiful, clean and nicely appointed...

Liked: It was a very nicely decorated MOTEL. The staff were very friendly. There was a hiccup with getting into our room so I don’t know what we would have done if we got there after they closed. The room was very clean, and beautifully decorated but the bathroom door would not close. There isn’t a coffee maker in the room (which I feel is kind of standard).
Disliked: I felt it was a bit overpriced for the area. We chose it because they said they have a restaurant and bar. They do…sort of.

Cute little place, but bring...

Liked: Wonderful staff, fun little bar with appetizers and craft cocktails, convenient location, plenty of parking, comfortable bed. In the morning, they offer complimentary coffee (made to order) and donuts and waffles to hotel guests, plus other delicious sounding breakfast options for purchase. They even offered to have coffee and breakfast delivered to our room.
Disliked: Lots of road noise, harsh lighting in living room of Santa Angela suite, no floor or table lamps in living room, no luggage rack in the bedroom, no hangers in the closet. No local network channels on TV, and you have to log in to any streaming service you want to watch. Also, our suite had a Keurig coffeemaker, but only one K-cup that was unlabeled so I don’t know what it was. (Fortunately we had our own K-cups.)
