Liked: Loved our stay, and I would recommend, filled with so much character and beautiful interior

Comfortable room & Excellent pool.

Liked: Dinner was good.Able to book for first night on arrival.Pre booking advised, as second night fully booked.Breakfast was good valve. we are not really breakfast people.Room very warm and facilities very good, very good clean room / bathroom.Pool excellent, also very warm.
Disliked: Being able to open window to vent room, smoke from staff outside below window, blowing back up to room.We are none smokers.

Liked: Lovely food. Friendly helpful staff. Spotless. Great ambience.
Disliked: Lack of robes and slippers in superior rooms.

Peaceful stay.

Liked: The olde world charm and slower pace made a refreshing change.
Disliked: You cannot compare this hotel to a modern counterpart and that is it's appeal.

A relaxing post Christmas break

Liked: The catering staff were friendly and helpful however the reception was often left unmanned. The location and views are good. The decorations in the dining room were tasteful. The swimming pool was a good size and the water not too hot for swimming. There was a good car park on site.
Disliked: No towels were provided for swimming so we had to use wet towels if we wanted a shower and a swim.
