In the pretty village of Menai Bridge the 200 year-old Anglesey Arms is rich in original charm and traditional character with tasty home-cooked food and real ales. The Anglesey Arms is the first building you see as you enter the island of Anglesey over Thomas Telford's famous Menai Suspension Bridge over the Menai Strait. The friendly pub serves traditional real ales and good honest pub food in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The building is steeped in history and the bell once used to call last orders was the original ship's bell rescued from the HMS Conwy which ran aground in the Menai Straits in April 1953. The rooms feature modern comforts and facilities including private bathrooms flat-screen TVs and tea/coffee. Free Wi-Fi is available in the bar. A good overnight stop, convenient...

Liked: Breakfast was lovely. Great beer garden. Convenient location.
Disliked: Damp in the bathroom, not a fan of black mould on the showerhead, it's totally avoidable.

Liked: Room great and cleaner so friendly and worked very hard
Disliked: Food and restaurant was not as clean ,sticky tables no sal5 and pepper on our table and food was very hit and miss our food was taken back not edible ,hard chips and dried up pie

Liked: Staff very helpful and friendly. Room comfortable and well equipped. Great location and lovely breakfast.Shower screen not very effective.

Liked: Great position, easy access to walks around the Belgian prom and church island aswell as Menai Bridge
Disliked: Our room was small and dingy, no view as we were situated over the kitchen or boiler room ( which was noisy during the night)And the window had been blanked out.

Clean and comfortable, and great...

Liked: We stay here frequently. Great location for Menai Bridge and exploring Anglesey. Clean, with comfortable beds.
Disliked: It was an exceptionally cold afternoon and evening, with gale force winds. Boiler seemed to have problems, as the heating kept cutting out.Not previously a problem and we will continue to enjoy staying at the AA.
