Disappointing

Comfortable but some issues

Liked: This place was in a great location! Very good for a one night stay, comfortable beds and free breakfast. We booked three rooms and one of the rooms even had beds that you could adjust mechanically! Each room had nice coffee and tea. The rooms were all very spacious. I liked the self check in as well as we didn't have to get there at a specific time. It was also very easy to contact the staff.
Disliked: We only really had one big issues with this stay. The door to one of our rooms was completely unlocked when we got to the hotel. This wasn't a huge issue at first as we could store our stuff in one of the other rooms we booked while we went out. We ended up getting the door to lock by putting the pin in a few times and it eventually did work. When we came back the door was locked again and we could not get back in. We contacted the staff via the ring doorbell on the front door and a mateinence worker came and tried to get the door open. Unfortunately this worker was incredibly rude and assumed we were the ones who broke the lock and kept making really passive aggressive comments. The owner, (who was very lovley) had to be called to fix the problem as the lock could not be opened from the outside and someone had to climb through the window. For some reason the owner asked someone from our group to climb up the very unstable ladder and jump through the window rather then having the maintenance worker do it (The reason the owner could not go up was age). We eventually got the door open and kept it open the rest of the night out of fear it would lock us in. Locks for any door should have an override option from the outside and the fact that these ones did not was a fire and safety hazard.

Liked: It was within walking distance from the centre. The room was big and breakfast was nice.
Disliked: We got two single beds, but probably it was the only room available.

Liked: I liked the room it was lovely clean and warm
Disliked: didn't like there was no cooked breakfast which didn't say that the time they didn't do any cooked breakfast
