Great place looking forward to...

Liked: The color scheme, the location, security with keycard, bath and shower, facilities, gym, paintings
Disliked: The attached soap/body wash kept falling off in the shower

Liked the hotel, loved the...

Liked: Interesting hotel. Seems to be under construction in places. Nice art. Need to go to top floor for reception. Excellent roof top bar. Great bartender, good food and drinks. Breakfast was excellent. The room was small and painted very dark blue but had a good bathroom and great views. The place was super clean.
Disliked: The soaps and shampoo, etc. are a very strange combo of fragrances and I didn't like the smell. No hand soap. The shaving mirror is hung way too low. The bed comfort was so-so. The whole place including ceiling was very dark blue which made the room seem even smaller than it was.

Frusyrating

Liked: Left a small expensive item in hotel room. Called about 2 hours away and they had located the item. Of course, I offered to post for shipping. Front desk said manager would contact me. Waited a day or two and called back. They said manager would contact me. Called in a few days, same thing. Emailed and got a strange generic message unrelated to issue. Called again and front desk said to talk to housekeeping. Talked to housekeeping they said item was taken to front desk. Called desk again and still no call back. This is something that would take maybe 15 minutes to resolve. Apparently, all the talk of customer service is a myth. Very disappointed in their service. It's been two weeks.
Disliked: Staff refusing to return calls, no resolution of issue.

Exceptional

A unique and wonderful hotel...

Liked: This was a unique hotel experience for my wife and I. Loved the artsy atmosphere created throughout the hotel. Loved the decor in the room and the hotel lobby particularly. The food in the downstairs restaurant was exceptionally good. And the staff were universally excellent and friendly.
Disliked: Not sure there was anything that could be improved on in terms of what was delivered for the price.

Overpriced and Excessive fees

Liked: The hotel’s location was perfect—it was close to everything on our itinerary, with some spots even within walking distance. Parking was conveniently near the entrance of the hotel.
Disliked: The hotel was disappointing for the price. Parking was $25 per day, with no complimentary amenities, and even breakfast came at full price. Every little thing had an extra charge, making the stay feel overpriced. Housekeeping was unresponsive, requiring three requests before they finally showed up. Overall, the service and quality didn’t match the cost—I wouldn’t stay here again.
