Gorgeous hotel in a perfect...
Liked: Beautiful hotel in a former sugar factory. Staff were very friendly and the room was extremely clean and comfortable and in an excellent location for exploring the city. Happy hour was a lovely touch. A true 5* gem.
Disliked: Can’t think of anything that could be improved!

Liked: The location was great.
Disliked: I recently stayed at the Andaz Hyatt in Prague and was quite underwhelmed by the service culture. The hotel's ambiance and decor are lovely, but the level of attentiveness and hospitality left much to be desired. Despite the luxurious setting, I felt the staff could have been more accommodating and responsive to guest needs.Moreover, I experienced significant issues with the payment process. I had to use three different credit cards, and none of them worked according to the hotel staff. This same problem was reported by another guest who checked in earlier, suggesting a recurring issue. Additionally, while I observed the reception staff being very warm and informative towards other guests, sharing details about the Andaz hour and other services, none of this information was shared with me. It felt as though they were selecting the type of customers they believed to be worthy of their attention.I was later informed by a young lady at reception that she had just joined the team and was not very thorough. With all due respect to young people working and starting in hospitality, it might be best if they are given the right training to ensure consistency in the service provided.The attitude of the the few staff we met also reflected this selective service approach. This seems like a place where people who wish to be seen might enjoy, but it certainly wasn't the experience I was hoping for. A little more warmth, proactivity, and a reliable payment system would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience.

Liked: The reception staff were extremely helpful. They made sure we had our airport transfer on time and helped us with boarding passes. They were helpful with restaurant recommendations. Bellman was very friendly and helpful. For some reason this posh hotel did not have a concierge which we did not understand. That meant the reception desk staff were very busy doing both jobs, but they handled it well
