Liked: The room and the view was absolutely stunning. I normally stay in hotels that don't provide such a view even at higher floors. The aesthetics were modern and exceeded my expectations.
Disliked: The couch was in need a of a clean. There were visible stains that would put any germaphobe into a spiral.

Liked: The location to ByWard Market is excellent!
Disliked: I did not know they were undergoing construction (a huge construction site next door, excavating and blasting). I would have appreciated the heads up before booking. Once we booked, we got there and were put into an accessible room (which wasn’t requested), right next door to the construction site. To say it was noisy, is an understatement. Luckily we asked to be moved, and they did so promptly. All I would suggest is to be transparent before booking, so the guests can determine whether they are okay with this. Other than this minor glitch, the hotel is lovely and located very close to ByWard Market and lots of restaurants and bars.
