The rooms themselves were adequate...

Liked: Great view close to the water.
Disliked: Layout was odd and certain areas had poor accessibility.They programmed the key card incorrectly/gave us the wrong room # and we walked into someone else’s room. The vending machine scammed us and charged 3x the listed price on statements. Keycards get reprogrammed when stored with phones for some reason.

Liked: The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. There was plenty of parking right out front. It was very reasonable, cost wise. I enjoyed the balcony and patio door for fresh air. The bed was comfortable. The towels were nice and big.
Disliked: I found that the entire building had an unpleasant odour about it, from entering the lobby to the room itself. The room seemed clean, but the odour was in the carpets and drapes. I slept with the patio door open to mitigate the odout.The carpet had visible dust along the edges, I'm assuming it was old? The pillows were flat and uncomfortable.

It's comfortable and familiar and...

Liked: Oh, we love the view. We were initially placed on the 5th floor, overlooking a rooftop, so we asked to be moved to a better view. We appreciate the location of the hotel in the town - it's close to our family, the pier, and stores. The seal around our balcony door was tested in a HUGE wind and rain storm on our last night there! It pounded all night long against those windows and there was no leaking. :)
Disliked: The towels are rough and thin. The shower pressure was very weak - not sure if it's because we were on the top floor or because of the particular shower head. Changing the type of water flow on the shower head didn't help.
