Pleasant but would do it...

Liked: Hotel was covered in scaffolding. Staff were friendly and welcoming at the 24 hour reception but unfortunately our room (5) was directly behind this 24 hour reception so we were woken up each early each morning with chattering as though it was actually in our room. View from the back was out over the canal which was beautiful but we had to stand in the bed to look out of a ‘porthole’ to see it. Close to bars and restaurants but we tended to get the underground to the main area. Would stay more in the centre next time.

Liked: Location, view ( canal room) Disliked: steep stairs, room wasn’t ready at check- in , bathroom had no privacy

Best view and location

Liked: The location was one of the main attractions, it is near a train station, and the view from our room was the best. We enjoyed every day we had there.
Disliked: We were told before hand about the stairs, but after seeing the view this was no longer a problem.
