Liked: Barry was a really lovely host, nice to have a chat to and had lots of recommendations. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate facilities in the room was a lovely touch and on the rainy evening we had in Dunedin, having Netflix on the TV was an unexpected bonus!

Liked: Pleasantly furnished large rooms with a very comfortable bed. Good size parking spaces, enough for each room. Cooking and eating utensils, towels and bed linen all spotless and new. Excellent toiletries including makeup remover pads and dark face towel. Hosts especially nice and helpful, lovely people. Just a block or two walk to a large supermarket, cafes, restaurants and the main mall. Good location.
Disliked: Nothing to do with the Amross Hotel, but there was some renovation at the building next door and the guys did start quite early during the week. Guess they will finish soon?
