Liked: Quiet, cozy and comfortable! The staff was excellent, and the breakfasts were amazing. In addition, the property is located on a road with a dedicated bike path, which we appreciated because we were traveling via bike.

Liked: We loved the architecture and history behind this grand old home. The Amethyst Inn was also well-located and in a lovely quiet neighbourhood.

Liked: Quirky 19 century hotel set in attractive suburb, easy to park, easy bus access to town.Breakfast was very large, nice good quality food, but no choice.
Disliked: In our room, it was too crowded with old furniture, no drawers to put your clothes and no coat hangers in the wardrobe. The bathroom had a very very large corner bath which was very difficult to get in or out, almost dangerous and very difficult to have a shower as it was hand held.
