Liked: The customer service was beyond what I am use to. We stay in a handful of hotels in the Minneapolis,MN area for my kids basketball and have never had such a caring and kind person check us in and out! AmeriVu was a very clean, quiet hotel with comfortable beds!

Mid hotel with great staff

Liked: The staff at AmeriVu were really personable, casual but professional. Their hospitality was great and I felt sure they would accommodate us as best as they could. The breakfast was also just fine and the swimming pool and hot tub were okay... it was a small space but that cannot be helped. I was glad it was there and they did a great job keeping towels stocked as there were a lot of kids using the facilities due to an event taking place there.
Disliked: We paid $180 for one night in a king room and that was way too much. The prices are all over the place for this hotel and they were definitely inflated for the dance event taking place that weekend. I see that a typical weekend night price is around $100, which would be fair for these facilities in a small town. If it weren't for the breakfast and pool I would say $80 would be spot on. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just lower end furniture and facilities.
