Liked: Pretty clean & close to Detroit Mountain
Disliked: Hot tub wasn’t working. Front desk gal wasn’t very nice, we asked for adjoining rooms for the 1st floor. And she said she would get it all handled. We got back later to check in & another gal told us nothing was available on 1st floor & no adjoining rooms were available. They put us on 2nd floor & far from each other. We were there with 2 families. My friend & her family walked into their room & it wasn’t even clean!!! Bed was slept in & bathroom was used. We went back downstairs & a guy set us up on main floor but no adjoining rooms. Seems like lack of communication @ the hotel. We stayed @ this hotel last year & I don’t think we will be staying there anymore.

Liked: Staff was amazing, the sauna was actually hot like a sauna should be which is rare these days. The hot tub was a little on the cold side. The warming lights in the bathroom are a much appreciated amenitie!!The christmas decorations in the lobby made the whole place feel warm, cozy and homey. Will always stay at this hotel when in Detroit Lakes. High Five to the staff who take pride in their work to keep it clean, friendly and inviting. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
