Liked: Location and quiet.
Disliked: Shower head fell off when showering. They blamed us for it so had to pay for it which was ridiculous. Staff was kinda rude. The room seemed dark no lights. Kinda runned down need to update rooms.

Disliked: The breakfast would’ve been better and having more towels in the hotel room instead of waiting.

Liked: The parking lot was accessible. Non owner staff were friendly.
Disliked: We chose this hotel becasue of the handicapped room with an elevated toilet and heated pool. The air conditioner in our handicapped room was broken. We were moved to a non handicapped room where my friends walker would not fit throught the bathroom doorway. My disabled friend had to go into another room to use the handicapped bathroom. The hallways were not aiir conditioned in 90 degree heat. The pool had been out of order several weeks, this information was not on the website. The floral scent of cleaning/room freshening products was overwhelming, curtains had multiple holes in the liner ( I have pictures to verify) The closet carpet had a 4 by 4 inch hole that looked like it had been eaten by a dog in this pet friendly hotel ( I have pictures to verify). We remained at the hotel becasue a lack of avaiablity of handicapped rooms other area hotels. We used booking.com and the typical price for a weekend is $86.00 per night. We were charged $149.00 one night and $179.00 for the second night. The owner said it was because of a big event in Cedar Rapids and that increased prices. While checking out I asked for a price adjustment, the owner was not there to approve. I wrote my phone number and reason for price adjustment on the check out receipt but was not contacted. I travel to Cedar Rapids monthly and will not stay at this hotel again.
