One time experience. Will not...

Liked: The pool was okay. The lobby was nice. The rest was pretty gross.
Disliked: Our rooms were dirty. The toilet wasn’t clean. There was stuff on the walls. Paint peeling, rust and tiles missing in the bathroom.The restaurant across the street “Farmer’s Daughters Kitchen” was AMAZING! HIGHLY RECOMMEND that restaurant! We opted for that over the subpar continental breakfast.

Liked: Visited on a weekday, the parking lot was half full when we arrived at 8pm. It was very quiet and clean. Hot breakfast was simple but delicious

Property is nice, but if...

Liked: The entire building, including our room, was spotless. It is always nice to go into a hotel and feel like it has definitely been cleaned thoroughly.
Disliked: I made my reservation on Booking.com and paid in advance. When I arrived at the property, the staff said that my reservation had been cancelled that afternoon and they claimed that I did not pay. Despite showing them my receipt of payment, confirmation number, and calling Booking.com to confirm that the stay had not been cancelled, they maintained I did not have a reservation and did not pay. As I had driven several hours for an event, I was forced to pay again, a large expense I was not counting on as I was staying multiple nights. When I tried to discuss the discrepancies with who I am guessing was the manager I was told "This is your problem, take it up with your bank." While I liked the property I will avoid staying again, it is much easier to drive to Mankato and avoid this headache. Do not recommend!! I'm currently in the process of proving that I did pay twice by providing Booking.com with all of the receipts and bank statements and trust me, it is a headache that I do not need.

Liked: The rooms were clean but needed updating.
Disliked: rusted bathroom fixtures, tub needed new caulking and bottom of tub needed a good scrubbing. breakfast was just ok. No coffee in lobby for arrivals only in the morning. As a whole, the property needs an updating.
