Very nice owners but very awful rooms

Liked: Very nice family owners
Disliked: Old and very outdated.The rooms were not cleaned good at all and had a smell like something stale. The towels n sheets were stained and the pull out couch was DISGUSTING. We didnt have much choice as there are really only hotel there. So we went and spent $60 on cleaning n sanitizing items n deep cleaned room n put our sheets on bed n couch. The free bfast is literally old look cereal n juice. The fact i paid 160.00 i just dont see what for bc while cleaning the dust was just layered on the lamps fixtures n phone like they dnt even bother to wipe it down the lysol wipe from the phone was brown n yellow and the from the fixture yellow. The covers has burn holes in them and the pillow was like an old worn out throw pillow didnt even fill the pillow case. They really should take some money and try to update the rooms because they are nice people but the rooms were awful. We requested a different room from first one they gave us n it was much better at all just the toilets didnt make a loud sound like previous room. I am very humbled but was very disappointed in the lack of care of rooms especially being one out two options to stay and the HIGH risk of getting germs if you do not clean it yourself. I didnt take pics bc i didnt being anything room until we cleaned it.

Disliked: Room was non smoking, when entering room smelled like smoke,I had my 92 year old mother with me, I went to front desk to ask for a extra roll of toilet tissue and was told that I had enough in room for 2 people in a very unpleasant tone.I will never stay at this hotel again.

Liked: It was clean, the lady at the desk didn't get the note that we wanted to check-in at 11 am. Then said it was 20 dollars extra for early check in. We paid the extra. We travel a lot and like to stop and rest a while then we get up and go again. We are considering staying here again
Disliked: The extra charge for early check in, even though the room was clean and ready.

Do not stay there.

Disliked: The website said it had a pool, coffee maker in the room continental breakfast and none of this was available. The room was filthy I took pictures. I spoke to the property manager and all she had to say was sorry I have to clean these rooms myself. I told her I would never stay there again.

Very satisfied & highly recommend!

Liked: This hotel was perfect for our weekend need. Everything was clean & staff were very helpful! No outside noise as with hotels stayed at in the past.

Winnsboro, SC is probably not on many folks' radar, but it this place make is worthwhile.

Liked: This was absolutely the best motel in this price range that I have ever stayed in. Hands down. Exceptionally clean. Very comfortable. Very pleasant staff. Clean property.
Disliked: Hard to find anything I didn't like. I had a late reservation so they didn't have a change to turn the a/c on before I got there so the room was very hot when I checked in. It cooled of pretty quickly though and it was a super-comfortable night.
