Horrible experience all the way around. Smelled and towels dingy. Shower was a trickle. Horrible. Never again!

Can't believe I paid to...

Liked: Upon arrival, we were booked into room 108. We went in, and the smoke detector was beeping. We were reassigned room 111. Room 111 didn't have a working phone, so we couldn't contact the front desk. The place has no working ice machine. Electrical outlet under a/c had no cover. The bathroom door kept getting stuck. You'd pushed the door, and it would make a huge noise waking my wife up. Inside the bathroom, the towel was hanging by two screws that were obviously not part of the installation. The parking lot pavement was all torn up. The second day, we returned from our grandsons funeral only to find that the door keys were not working. The front desk clerk had to reprogram the key cards. We were expecting a continental breakfast, but to our dismay, the only thing available was coffee. The pictures on the booking app showed cereal dispensers, but in really, there really wasn't any at all. The price of the room was the cheapest in Uvalde, but the stay was terrible. My wife is still hurting from the hard bed.

Liked: Check in was a bit complicated, it turned out that the reservation I made and paid for with Booking. Com did indeed show as a reservation but not payment. I had to pay that day, and I wasn't too happy, but I feel it wasn't the clerk's fault.
Disliked: The heater didn't work, or at least we couldn't get it to work, We ended up buying one from Walmart to keep us warm as we slept.

Disliked: Broken chair, toilet wobbly, no handicap amenities, shower head so clogged barely water could flow, bed was so tall I couldn’t get on it without help, very dirty floors, $50 deposit at check in and returned at checkout if you checkout on time.We have stayed at this hotel four different times in the past and they’ve always been fine. This was a horrible experience. We will never stay there again.
