We recently stayed at the ABVI on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood and we just wanted to let you know that this is the BEST hotel ever. The bed was fantastic, the pillows were great and it was so clean and updated. The prices were right within our budget and we will come back to the area again just to stay there. Thanks.

Disliked: On line it is include breakfast but this hotel no breakfast.

Liked: Well located on Sunset Blvd.
Disliked: Very simply furnished, with partly broken furniture. The shower worked very poorly. Limited parking on site. Despite the fact that the hotel promotes itself with "breakfast included in the price", there is no breakfast at all.The staff is unfriendly and downright rude. Since there are enough opportunities nearby with more interesting price-quality offers, this hotel is strongly avoided.

Liked: It was a close drive to Universal studios, less than 15 mins. the staff was friendly and helpful when the parking lot was full.
Disliked: The smell of our room was horrendous, it was cigarette smoke with floral cleaning supplies to try and cover up the smoke smell. Gave us a terrible headache. The shower had hair shavings on the walls from previous tenants, the smoke detector was wrapped in Saran Wrap?? (definitely a hazard). Fingerprints on the ceiling, sticky floors, random loud banging throughout the night and early morning that would wake us up.
