Room quirky & interesting but...

Liked: The rooms were very quirky and interesting. Location great.
Disliked: 1.Booked with parking only to get there and no parking. New owners had taken over and apparently no longer had an agreement with the parking lot next door. After expressing dissatisfaction owner allowed my to park in his spot - next door to the hotel.2.Was told I could not check in and to come back in an hour due to guests checking out late. This was just after 2pm which i was told check in time. Again after expressing dissatisfaction was provided a room. 3.No soap or toilet paper in the room. Had to ask for this.4. Chair in room had a broken leg so could not be used5. No batteries in the tv or dvd remote.6. Pillow case had stains.7. Very loud arguments from other guests with yelling and crying which lasted a few hours - no intervention by staff.Maybe teething problems with new owners yet unfortunately it was enough that I would not come back.

Gone down hill

Liked: The location is convenient
Disliked: Unfortunately, it's changed hands , the new owner is very rude on the phone.The front door with the security swipe was broken, and anyone could gain access into the front check-in area.The bar / cafe is closed. The shower door hinge is rusted, and the door is hard to use. It needs repairs, and there were dark black hairs in the shower, and the bathroom wasn't the cleanest. There is no stock in the bar fridge, no cold water or milk.I have stayed there on lots of occasions, but this time it was really disappointing.

What a shithole this place...
