Great value and convenient location....

Liked: Very clean, quiet, comfortable and good location to walk everywhere. It is in the Zona Rosa with lots of bars and restaurants. There are some homeless people on the block. The fitness center was basic and useful. The front desk held a painting for me for a week while I traveled elsewhere.
Disliked: The breakfast was just okay. To invite a guest, the guest must present ID at the reception. This was a not a dislike, just a fact. It was for security.

Secret gem in Zona Rosa

Liked: Carlos, Saul, and the entire front desk staff were amazing. The best customer service! They were friendly and super attentive. All you have to do is ask for something, and they make everything magically appear. Next to the location, the staff is what makes this hotel a winner. The hotel is less than a 10mn walk to the Angel de la Independencia and 5mn walk from La Reforma. There are convenience stores, restaurants, bars, and banks in walking distance of the hotel. I felt very safe as a female solo traveler in this area. Meeting points for various attractions were within walking distance of the hotel. The cable TV channel selections were fantastic and included streaming. The place is a gem!
Disliked: The noise (loud club music at all hours) is absurd, and I come from NYC. Also, there is no heat, which I don't understand as it goes down to the 40s F / 5s C at night. Lastly, the stairs to get to the elevator are not my favorite thing after sightseeing all day. If I was 30 years younger, I wouldn't mind it that much.

Disliked: Breakfast is very limited. They only offer a small fruit plate and eggs with beans, juice and coffee. The last day of our breakfast they told us there is no bread and an extra egg is an additional cost, but of course no bread you don't get a discount
