A mediocre hotel in a...

Liked: I was given a room at the front of the hotel so I could see the sea, which was nice.
Disliked: The toilet took ages to refill the cistern which was noisy.

Would Return.

Liked: Expected to have to share a bed with my son and there were two beds. En suite. About 30 seconds away from the sea. Friendly proprietor. £99 for a Saturday, at little notice, 30 seconds away from the sea was good value. Much cheaper than the Travelodge and Premier Inn.
Disliked: Nothing really.

My stay at the Ambassador...

Liked: Friendliness, helpfulness of the owner and staff. Accessibility of hotel via public transport and of town centre and railway station. Security is also excellent. On my next trip to Brighton, I plan to stay at the Ambassador.
Disliked: I cannot make a single negative observation on the Ambassador Hotel.
