Liked: The decor was lovely. The facilities were great, lovely spa area we enjoyed for an hour, pretty much had the place to ourselves!Coffee in rooms were nice.Staff were very helpful and friendly.Breakfast was amazing!We had kind of a nice view of Zurich outside our window.Fancy bed and sheets.Train stop near the front of the hotel.Nice green walks around the hotel.Interior decor of restaurants and bars in main building are beautiful, the staff are very well trained (shame about some of the customers)Food on menus very reasonable price from Zurich.Being able to check out from East Wing instead of the main building was great.Absolutely get the breakfast!
Disliked: The location of our room was accessed through an underground 1/4km tunnel, interesting!The size of the room is too small, as os the bathroom. Any 2 people sharing over who's over 165cm tall will struggle with the size of the room and bathroom, knocking my elbows more times there than on a roller coaster! Dried my hair in the corridor area as nowhere else to do it.Not enough shelves, hooks, or anywhere to do your makeup/hair.*Getting to the hotel from the train stop is difficult and not sign posted at all. This is a big drawback and needs changing. We were walking around literally in circles with a heavy case, trying to locate the reception!!! Please change this. You should encourage people to use public transport to access your hotel and make it easy to locate and access. It's 2025 guys in the middle of a lush green place, please think about eco-friendly ways to travel to and from FIVE!*

The property's physical beauty is matched only by the extraordinary service culture Mr. Mahakumara has masterfully cultivated.From our arrival, it was clear that his leadership philosophy centers on proactive guest care. Mr. Mahakumara's personal touch was evident throughout - from his daily rounds delivering room service to his genuine interest in ensuring guests' comfort, both within the hotel and during their time in Zurich. As someone who leads my own organization, I found his management style both inspiring and educational.The coordination between departments was flawless, reflecting Mr. Mahakumara's exceptional training protocols. His team, from front desk to housekeeping, maintained immaculate standards with remarkable consistency. Their ability to anticipate rather than merely react to guest needs demonstrated the superior service culture he has established.A particular incident stands out: when a fellow guest accidentally left their iPad before a same-day flight, Mr. Mahakumara personally arranged international shipping to America. This level of attentive problem-solving exemplifies his commitment to guest satisfaction.Having experienced luxury hotels worldwide, the environment Mr. Mahakumara has created is truly distinctive. He achieves the perfect balance of five-star service while maintaining an atmosphere of genuine warmth. Disliked: Would be nice if the hotel itself put full glass separators in the show to prevent a little water splashing out, but the Ritual Soaps and body lotions and high quality service make up for the little inconvenience. Just put a towel down.

Overall very good
Liked: Good hotel we liked the decor, very bright and very clean. Constantly saw staff who were all helpful. Good spa and great sauna. Very clean spa.Bed was comfortable. Requested breakfast at 5:40 am to go and hotel was on time and very generous with portion sizes!! Food was fresh!Dropped us of down the hill when asked.Overall very good
