Enjoyed staying there and they had a great breakfast; perfect, next to the Ventura Theater where we were going; will recommend this spacious Inn.

Liked: Great location; clean and spacious rooms; friendly staff; affordable price!
Disliked: The rooms had a musty odor but nothing that an open window couldn't help.

Within walking distance to the beach and fairgrounds and all of downtown. This is a very clean hotel and one of the few that does not have a mildew smell.

Liked: I come to Ventura quite often and have been staying here for several years. Never disappoints except this time, nevertheless we will probably continue to stay there.
Disliked: Housekeeping policy is not clearly communicated at check in. As a result we did not get housekeeping (put a DND flyer outside our door to go to breakfast, housekeeping came by and took us off the schedule for the day). Plus the resident transient walking around the pool talking to himself was creeping guests out and keeping them (and us) from using the pool. We were told there was nothing they would do about it. Pool was ice cold.

Enjoyable stay including breakfast

Disliked: There should be a grab bar installed in showers. Good for all guests whether handicapped or not.
