Very nice stay…wish it could...

Liked: It’s an ideal location for visiting the centre of Salzburg and its attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful.The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, and the breakfast was very good. We would definitely recommend this hotel, and should we stay in Salzburg again, we would stay here again.
Disliked: Nothing

Charming hotel with a comfortable...

Liked: The location of the Altstadt Hotel Stadtkrug is perfect for a stay. It is close to a wonderful church, all of the sights and monuments in town. The breakfast and the bar were clean and had great offerings. The staff was wonderful and able to point out several great items that we had not planned.
Disliked: I was happy with everything.

I will return to Alstadt...

Liked: Location: 5minute walk to Mozart Birthplace, Getreidegasse, Mirabell Palace and major bus stops connecting to Hauptbahnhof, Airport, Hellbrunn Palace, Salzburg Zoo. The Hotel is wonderfully appointed, spotlessly clean and the staff is exceedingly accomodating and knowledgeable about Salzburg's environs, attractions, transportation options. My single room was basic in furnishings, but perfect for a single traveller staying for 5 days. Breakfast was enough to get you going in the morning. Not lavish but all nicely presented. The hotel restaurant served me perhaps the best steak I have ever eaten. Highland beef sourced from their own herd.
Disliked: I had to leave.

Liked: Breakfast was very good, one of the best we had on our trip. Shower had good pressure despite being small.
Disliked: Bed was rather uncomfortable. they use a mattress pad on top of a box spring, wish is was memory foam at least.

Liked: Very charming hotel. The staff were all wonderful and you can’t beat the location. The room was very comfortable with a great view.
Disliked: Not a thing.
