Liked: Excellent location, convenient for exploring the city.A cozy restaurant and good time for breakfast.The room was tidy and clean.The cost was lower, for a solo traveler.
Disliked: The facilities are quite outdated: furniture, towels, and the bathroom looked worn out and cracked in places.In larger cities with more competition, you could find a more modern option for a similar price, but in Meppen, the choices are more limited )

Liked: Writing DIRECT to the Hotel’s email address - not just using the Booking.com system - gave quick replies to our queries about:1. How to check in late - from our late arriving car ferry at Hook of Holland;& 2. Where to park our car for free upon our arrival at the Hotel (in the centre of the city). Very spacious & comfortable room - & bathroom.Great ‘Keyboy’ system, outside the Hotel, to enable us to check in late, after the staff had left for the night. A WONDERFUL breakfast. Eat as much as you can - from a large range of choices of food & drink.
Disliked: No details about HOW to get WiFi/WLAN when making such a late check in. Problem solved, however, next morning before breakfast!

Liked: Very convenient good value. Comfortable room. Breakfast plentiful
Disliked: Not the hotels fault but the parking outside would not accept my card so had to get up super early to move it.
