Charming place to stay!
Liked: Perfect location in the city. Was able to walk anywhere we wanted. Many great shops and restaurants so close!

Nice hotel in the very...
Liked: Staff is very friendly, valet parking was great (but expensive, as everything in Switzerland).The room was basic but clean and there was a coffee machine.Location is great.
Disliked: There are 2 hotels, 150 m from each other. Check in was in the Krone hotel, from there you walk to the Magic hotel. It took a while to find it. The bed was not very comfortable.

Great location, but watch out…
Liked: The location was great… the best part of our stay… And everyone on staff (front desk and valets) was very helpful…
Disliked: The address listed on booking wasn’t correct. As a result we arrived on the wrong side of the river. After calling the hotel, we got the correct address and finally arrived… But the property where our room was located was a bit of a haul away (check in is at a “sister” hotel)…Parking is valet, so plan accordingly…And the central location is great - overlooking a square… but the walls and windows are paper thin, so don’t plan on getting a restful sleep…

Disappointing
Liked: Location for walking access of Luzern center
Disliked: Check-in in 500 meter away another hotel. Access to the hotel building with card did not nork, the same to room.35 minutes waiting for 32 CHF valet parking.Not realy friendly staf.

Good location, nice room.
Liked: Great location from the rail station and close to the river and sites.
Disliked: Having to check in one place and walk to another place where the room was.

Was an okay experience except...
Liked: Location was good. Staff were good. Hotel theme was fun.
Disliked: Had very bad experience with the key cards not working. Happened on multiple occasions which meant we couldn’t get into the hotel front door, or our room. The cards are the old version of key card that needs to be inserted into a key reader. The issue meant we had to go back and forth to the reception, which is in a different hotel. Also had issues with the wifi speed once most residents were in their rooms for the night. Was virtually not working at all.

Poor
Liked: The room was as per the photos and very different which we loved. Location was right in the old city, which was great for exploring.
Disliked: The rooms were incredibly noisy with a combination of workers at 0600, the church bells constantly with no sound proofing and yelling people at all hours. We luckily brought earplugs so highly recommend wearing those. Our key cards stopped working FOUR times where we had to keep going back to the other check in hotel to get new ones. This caught us out at late hours and frustrating times where we had bags or had been walking all day and were excited to get home. We saw many other people in our building have the same problem but when we kept going back to the staff, they never apologised or attempted an actual solution- only laughed.
