Liked: Fantastic location in the heart of the historic district. Restaurants and Pubs all around. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nice breakfast.

Liked: The friendly staff who helped with everything, the clean and renovated bathroom, and the good breakfast. But the best part is the location of the hotel. It is within walking distance of all the Christmas markets and shopping malls. It is in the area where most of the cafes and bars are located.
Disliked: The only negative was that the pillows were very thin, even 2 pillows were not enough. The staff was helpful in some way.

Disappointed and not really deserved...

Liked: The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and to usual German standards.
Disliked: Our room was in a separate building opposite the hotel; up a long corridor and stairs with carpet that had seen better days. We were in Room 101 which was should have signalled what we should have expected. The door has a metal plate on as if it had been forced open. The Room was dark and dingy and very shabby. There were bars at the windows. The curtains were hanging off the rail. The beds were comfortable and clean but had plastic undersheets which made us very sweaty. The bathroom, ,however, was clean and relatively modern. The whole place could do with some considerable investment. Monday and Tuesday nights were ok, but inconsiderate guests letting doors slam kept us awake. Wednesday and Thursday nights were awful. Music, from we presumed, the Irish Bars (3 in and around the building), kept us awake for most of the night until 4.30am when the music stopped. It was not very nice!!!!

Liked: The location Is super central
Disliked: As It Is super central,.it has a lot of pubs and bars literally under the hotel that stay open with loud music and people screaming till 4am... So you can't sleep if you face that side.

Great hotel for a weekend...

Liked: Located in the heart of Düsseldorf. Friendly hotel staff and comfortable room.
Disliked: Relatively noisy in front of the hotel during the night (it's a nightlife area, obviously), but I had Oropax with me to block the noise and I slept overall well.
