We like it and have...

Liked: There is a lot of wasted space in the room layout...very odd.. but I expect a european type room in this hotel and enjoy the electronic controls - perfect heat/airflow combination, and adjusting the blinds to adjust for sunrise/sunset etc . This is one of the few hotels which actually has good reading lights or dim lighting for mood. We were able to walk the dog on great paths by the river, enjoy the best coffee/croissant Calgary has to offer across the street and walk to excellent restaurants in Chinatown, all while letting our car charge for free in the public parking garage.
Disliked: no room service for sure.

Liked: 2nd stay here, came for the location, comfort and most importantly the view. It was very very cold when we stayed so it was a pleasure to know we could come back to and spend quality time in a warm, cosy room.
