Liked: The host is friendly and knowledgeable. Gave great advice and recommendations. The breakfast was great as well. Close walk to both lifts for skiing. Parking is also not a problem for those who rented a car.

Liked: Alpenhotel Schlüssel is in a perfect location in the center of Andermatt. It's about halfway between the tram at Gemsstock Glacier and the Gütschbahn tram that takes you to the rest of the Andermatt ski area. Less than a 10min walk to anywhere in town. Free parking is great, because you won't need your car in Andermatt!The room was spacious and well equipped, and the staff was friendly and helpful, giving us the lay of the land and recommending restaurants and shops to visit. The skiraum features a boot drying rack and shelves for other equipment. Great place to stay for a ski vacation!
