Disliked: It is a beautiful resort, but customer experience is just NOT thereWhen they checked me in there was still someone cleaning my room. The rooms are OK at best- could be updated. During my stay the lock malfunctioned and I was locked out of my room for 2hrs late at night. They also charged me $500 for lighting a candle! When I called to talk about my experience they left me on hold for 30+ minutes then hung up. Also if you book via booking.com they act as if you are less than Very disappointed!

Liked: Location was perfect. Have stayed here before and we love the hotel. Carpets looking a little dated but it's expected I guess with the traffic in and out over the years.
Disliked: Safety. We had swipe cards but you didn't even need them to go up the lifts so anyone could come in and out of hotel floors. Hotel often smelt of majuana in lower floor corridors and in lobby

Liked: The beds were comfortable and there were many amenities.
Disliked: There was black mold in our room. The staff was rude at the pool bar- didn’t want to go and tap the keg of the drink we wanted so said it wasn’t available. (Actually heard the other worker say ‘you’re gonna have to do it at some point. Might as well do it now’). Our housekeeper told us that we were ‘too messy’ even though we cleaned up all of our trash. I guess we had too many clothes? I also stepped on a sewing needle in my room and it went through my shoe and into my toe. Since we booked via Booking.com we never got to see our statement but had several $300 charges. We’re in our mid twenties and we really splurged on this trip so we were disappointed to find that we weren’t treated as well as some of the other guests.
