Never again at the Phoenix...

Disliked: The room was infested with gnats. Literally like 40 of them sitting in the hole of the sink bowl. The elevator was broken the entire say. Breakfast was offered but they were out of half the menu which only left snack options. My headboard in my room has grease or stains from the previous guest. No iron, which was weird. They only provided a steamer, which did not work well.

Fun vibe but fell short...

Disliked: We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the airport; we had an early flight out the next morning. Unfortunately, the hotel shuttle didn't start running until after we needed to be at the airport so we had to arrange our own transportation there. This was disappointing. From now on I'll know to check when shuttles start with early flights.

Liked: The location is convenient to Sky Harbor. Beds were very comfortable
Disliked: Walls were a little thin, could hear people next door. Also airport shuttle does not start till 6am. They are arranged a taxi, $20 flat rate. Only 15 minutes to the airport.

Liked: Service at the bar area was fantastic. Bartender was amazing!
Disliked: Front staff was obviously not happy. Did not greet and acted like I was a bother when checking in. My room key didn't work initially so I had to go back to him to get another one. Never apologized. I asked about the restaurant and he said that I could doordash or get food outside but never mentioned that the bar had snacks such as chicken tenders, etc. SO, I ordered out BUT I could have went to the bar for the food. I bought my reservation through a 3rd-party-site so I didn't know that the airport shuttle didn't run until 6 AM (my flight was at 5:50 AM), so I asked what he could do and he did OFFER to get the Uber for my daughter and I, so for that I was very grateful.

Good location (for a night...

Liked: Good location to the airport and can take the tram (free) from the airport getting off a 44th street stop the hotel is walkable from there but the area is a little shady so I would only recommend it in broad daylight. Going back to the airport at 5am the hotel provided Uber.
Disliked: The area is questionable and if you want food the hotel bar has microwaveable food but no really good options. Best bet is to order Uber eats or whatever app you use to get a good meal.
