Central hotel which was beautifully decorated. The staff were very helpful and approachable. The room was modern, stylish and very clean looking without being clinical! Beautiful hotel which I would look forward to returning to.

Disliked: The postcode given via Aloft Hotels takes you to the NCP car park however on check out and asking for the car park ticket to be discounted we were told we had parked in the wrong car park .On arrival perhaps asking people where the have parked would really help as it’s a shame to pay £25 instead of the £15 as advised by Aloft Hotels. When you’re not from the area you’re solely reliant upon a postcode and if this takes you to the destination LY 2AY and you then see NCP car park you are bound to park there.

great hotel , great location...

Liked: great location , nice hotel , great bar area , breakfast was excellent for the first 2 days , 3rd day Saturday morning , there were more people staying at the hotel and staff were running around seemed to be no organization had to wait 20mins for the bacon tray to be re-filled when i questioned a member of staff was told chef was busy doing egg orders ? surely you keep on top of your staple stuff as more people were waiting the busier the restaurant became leading to staff running around everywhere , being a manager of 17 staff myself looked like it just needed a bit of a cool head to sort things out as staff were doing the same jobs , advice would be give staff designated areas on busy days i.e. 2 clean floor and tables one replenishing fruits and yogurts 1 on bread and pastries and the rest doing special orders and replenishing all items hot food items this would take away what seemed to be chaos at times and avoid long waiting times

Liked: The staff were helpful and friendly. Our breakfast was excellent a very good selection and tasty.The location was very good. The hotel its self beautiful. Very clean and full of character lovely building.
Disliked: Having to go home. Our stay was for only 2 nights.

Liked: Got to check in early which was handy. Clean room and friendly staff. Very quiet at night.Breakfast was 10/10. My 7 year old boy was on cloud 9 with the choices. Will be staying again
